The number
811 Steam Engine is reported to be the last of 23 units of the 789 class.
Between 1907 and 1910, it was changed from a four cylinder vauclain compound to
single expansion cylinders. In 1923, it was converted to oil at the Topeka
shops using some parts manufactured in Atchison, Kansas.
